STEM focuses on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, helping students build problem-solving, critical thinking, and innovation skills through hands-on learning and real-world applications.

This course helps students build the reading and writing skills needed to succeed on the SHSAT ELA section. Students will practice close reading, grammar, revising and editing, and test-taking strategies through guided instruction and practice. Designed for students in grades 6–8, the course is beginner-friendly and focused on building confidence and readiness for test day.

This course prepares students for high school World History and AP World History, aligned with New York State standards. Students explore major civilizations and global interactions while developing key historical thinking skills. Designed for students in grades 5–8, the course builds a strong foundation for future history classes.

This course prepares students for Regents Algebra I by covering key topics aligned with New York State standards, including linear equations and inequalities, functions, systems of equations, and basic quadratic concepts. Designed for students in grades 7–8, the course builds foundational algebra skills, problem-solving ability, and confidence for future Regents math courses.

This course prepares students for the SHSAT Math section using topics outlined in the NYC DOE framework, including rational numbers, ratios and proportions, algebraic expressions, geometry (area, volume, and coordinate plane), and basic data analysis. Designed for students in grades 6–8, the course focuses on building accuracy, reasoning, and test readiness.

This course introduces students to key high school geometry concepts aligned with New York State standards. Students study points, lines, angles, polygons, area, and geometric reasoning while building problem-solving and spatial thinking skills. Designed for students in grades 4–8, the course prepares students for future high school geometry and math courses.

This course helps Chinese-speaking students build English skills for school success. Students practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing through vocabulary, phonics, grammar, and conversation, with visual supports, bilingual guidance, and small-group instruction to strengthen confidence and academic readiness.

The Arts category includes courses in visual arts and music that encourage creativity, self-expression, and artistic skill development through hands-on learning and exploration.

This accelerated course is intended for students with some prior music experience who want a faster-paced introduction to music theory. Students will review core fundamentals while moving more quickly into harmony, chord analysis, and musical structure.
